Miller Health conducts occupational health, fitness and wellbeing programs for corporate organisations.

inspire and motivate your staff to keep themselves fit and healthy. They feel better. You'll achieve the objectives listed in #1 above.

 

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH, FITNESS AND WELLBEING

In a sedentary society it's a big ask expecting people to be healthy without keeping themselves fit.

 

We work with organisations who want to focus on the health, fitness and wellbeing side of the OH&S equation, on dysfunction rather than injury. These days, that's where most of the OH&S costs are being accrued, from people with low levels of health and fitness, not from people tripping over cords and falling off ladders.

 

 

Many organisations are currently at great risk of paying for body system dysfunctions that are not of their causing because they are not effectively managing the risk of poor health. We help these organisations to measure and manage that risk.

 

THE EPIDEMIC OF POOR HEALTH

We're living in an era where the epidemic of poor health is increasing at an exponential rate. If it wasn't, the government of Australian would be spending less each year protecting the medical industry.

 

It's not so much diseases that are the problem but the personally generated body system dysfunctions.

ABSENTEEISM, PRESENTEEISM AND WORKERS COMPENSATION

We encourage organisations to measure the risk of presenteeism, absenteeism, workers' compensation and staff turnover and provide solutions to help lower these costs.

 

It's relatively easy to measure the costs of absenteeism and workers compensation. We have the tools to measure the risk of presenteeism and the programs to manage the risk.

OUR ASSESSMENTS

A program of continuous assessment, coupled with lifestyle counseling for people at risk of one or more of the lifestyle dysfunctions, is an effective way to minimize risk, particularly of absenteeism and workers' compensation.

A unique feature of our work is the ability to feed back an audit report on a number of parameters relating to fitness, musculo-skeletal dysfunction, general metabolic dysfunction, stress and career satisfaction. If you know the risk you can do something about it.
