The budget depends on a range of factors, including the size of the organisation, it's geographical spread and the size of the problem.

Here's a rough guide.

If the average number of days absent is less than 7, allocate an amount equivalent to 1 days absence, across the whole of your organisation.

If the average number of days absent is more than 7, allocate an amount equivalent to 2 days absence.
